Our Story

THE BEGINNING

 

SALON PRIVAT MANILA - is more than just a salon, it is a landmark of the beauty industry which brings together the serenity of a spa, the professionalism of top stylists, and the luxurious ambience of Paris.

 

It all began when owners Digzy Mendoza - Umali and Denirene Mendoza - Casipit presented the idea to their mother, Irene Manguiat - Tan, along with their long time stylist, Danny Katalbas. The whole concept came together as the family's time to bond and relax from their forwarding business was their salon and spa visits together. They wanted to bring everything they loved about the salon experience and offer the same sophisticated and luxurious amenities in the solace of a private and serene area; hence the name, Salon Privat.

 

Through the creativity of Ms. Tessa Prieto - Valdes' interior design team and the invaluable infusion of Ms. Digzy's personal style, the vision of creating a functional space with European flair became a reality.

 

On January 24, 2013, SALON PRIVAT MANILA formally opened its doors to the public and has steadily become one of the premiere beauty retreats in the Metro.
